If  I Could Reach Up Rowland R. Hoskins, Jr

If I could reach up and hold a star for each time you've made me smile, an entire evening's sky would be in the palm of my hand.

Across The Years
Robert Sexton

Across the years I will walk with you
in deep green forests; on shores of sand,
and when our time on earth is through,
in heaven, too, you will have my hand.

Cupid Poop

I couldn't send you flowers
And candy wouldn't do
And mushy cards just didn't
Say the things I want them to.
So I got you something special
And here's the inside scoop
I found you something very rare
Its genuine Cupid poop.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Use those tiny red hots or conversation heart candies.  Put them in a baggie and attach the poem.
Saint Patrick's Day
March 17th is St. Patrick's Day
When the Leprechauns come out to play,
They sneak around to find some gold
Then steal it and hide it, or so we're told.
But maybe we can trick them too
And then the one with the treasure is you!
Put something gold or silver in the sack
Then close it up and don't look back.
If you're lucky the Leprechauns will add some
And then you have the treasure and they have none!
IRISH BLESSINGS
May God grant you always... A Sunbeam to warm you, A Moonbeam to charm you, A Sheltering Angel so nothing can harm you. Laughter to cheer you, Faithful friends near you, And whenever you pray, Heaven to hear you!
May your glass be ever full.
May the roof over your head
be always strong,
and may you be in heaven half an hour
before the devil knows you're dead.
May the saddest day
of your future
be no worse
than the happiest day of your past
May peace and plenty be the first
To lift the latch on your door,
And happiness be guided to your home
By the candle of Christmas.
May the Irish hills caress you.
May her lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
May your glass be ever full.
May the roof over your head be always strong.
And may you be in heaven
half an hour before the devil knows you're dead.
Always remember to forget
The friends that proved untrue.
But never forget to remember
Those that have stuck by you.
May there always be work for your hands to do,
May your purse always hold a coin or two.
May the sun always shine warm on your windowpane,
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you,
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you
Here's to you and yours
And to mine and ours.
And if mine and ours
Ever come across to you and yours,
I hope you and yours will do
As much for mine and ours
As mine and ours have done
For you and yours!
For each petal on the shamrock
This brings a wish your way,
Good health, good luck, and happiness
For today and every day.
May your thoughts be as glad as the shamrocks.
May your heart be as light as a song.
May each day bring you bright happy hours,
That stay with you all year long.
May those who love us love us.
And those that don't love us,
May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May he turn their ankles,
So we'll know them by their limping.
May you be poor in misfortune,
Rich in blessings,
Slow to make enemies,
And quick to make friends.
But rich or poor, quick or slow,
May you know nothing but happiness
From this day forward.
Count your blessings instead of your crosses;
Count your gains instead of your losses.
Count your joys instead of your woes;
Count your friends instead of your foes.
Count your smiles instead of your tears;
Count your courage instead of your fears.
Count your full years instead of your lean;
Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.
Count your health instead of your wealth;
Love your neighbor as much as yourself.
