"You've been boo'd"

The air is cool the season fall
Soon Halloween will come to all
The spooks are after things to do
In fact, a spook brought this to you
"BOO" is a shield from witching hour
Just hang it up and watch its power
On your front door is where it works
It wards off spooks and scary jerks
The treats that came with crypted note
Are yours to keep, enjoy them both
The power comes when friends like you
Will copy this and make it TWO
Then others here among our friends
Will give warm fuzzies that do not end
We'll all have smiles upon our face
No one will know who "BOO"ed whose places
Just one short day to work your spell
Or a big ZAP will strike your tail
And don't forget a nifty treat,
Like something cute or something sweet
Please join fun, let's really hear it
And spread some "BOO"s and Halloween spirit.
Gooood Evennnnning!

The "Phantom Ghost" has come to town

To leave you some goodies, I see you have found.

If you do not wish a curse to fall,

Continue this greeting, this "Phantom" call.

First post this "Phantom" where it can be seen,

And leave it there until Halloween.

This will scare other "Phantoms" who may visit,

Be sure to participate, don't be a "fis-bidget."

Second, make two treats, two Phantoms, and two notes like this,

Deliver them to two friends who may have been missed.

Don't let them see you, be sneaky, no doubt...

And make sure they put their Phantom Ghost out!

Next, you have only ONE DAY to act, so be quick!

Leave it at doors where the "Phantom" hasn't hit.

Deliver at dark, when there is no light

Ring the doorbell, run, and stay out of sight!!!!

And last, but not least, come join in the season.

Don't worry, be happy-you need no reason.

Be cool, have fun, and remember don't be seen-

SHARE IN THE SPIRIT OF HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!

Goodie Ghost

The Goodie Ghost

Has struck again

Now Keep me going

and strike some friends

The phantom ghost has come to town

by Leanne Tanner

The phantom ghost has come to town

To leave you some goodies, as you have found.

If you do not wish for a Halloween hex

Help him decide who to visit next.

First, copy the Phantom Ghost – make two!

And make two copies of this note too,

Then, post the ghost where it ca be seen

And leave it there ‘till Halloween

The Phantom Ghost says “Won’t you heed this advice?

“So I know where I’ve been and won’t visit there twice!”

Once you’ve hung the ghost, make two treats you can share

With two families or friends for whom you care.

Within two days, the Phantom should go

To the houses you’ve chosen, so don’t be slow!

Make sure no phantoms have been there before,

Leave the treat, note and ghost outside the door.

Ring the doorbell and run away into the night!

Be quick and be quiet and stay out of sight!!!

After house number two, your task is done –

The Phantom has struck!! – Isn’t Halloween fun?

The Phantom has been here

The Phantom has been here with a treat just for you,
He crept to your door in a fog misty blue.
This isn't a trick, this treat isn't for free,
Now it's your turn and the Phantom you'll be!
The Phantom loves treats and also loves rhymes.
Take you this paper and copy TWO times.
So he won't strike again, hang this on your window or door.
Take this and a treat and deliver TWO more
To a neighbor or friend in the black of the night.
Pound on their door, and give 'em a fright
Then by Halloween night, there surely should be
Phantoms on all of the doors that we see.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

The Family Night Phantom

The Family Night Phantom is out to haunt you this Halloween

And delivered by a friend who (hopefully) was not seen

The spirit of the neighborhood has come to wish you well

Someone, somewhere selected you to receive this happy spell

You must display the Phantom on your door so all can spy

That you've already been haunted by this happy little guy

Then fix two batches of goodies like the ones just given to you

Ring someone's bell and leave the treats and make them happy too

Halloween (Holy Ghost)

Since this is the time for goblins and bats,
Halloween spirits and ghosts and cats,
Weird happenings and witches brew,
These are the thing we wish for you..
May the only ghost that comes to stay,
Be the Holy Ghost to guide your way.
May the only spirits you chance to meet,
Be the spirits of love and warm friendship sweet.
May the only trick you are asked to do,
Be the trick of helping a child or two.
These are our Halloween wishes for you,
And may God bless you in all you do.

The haunting has begun. . .

Let's see how many (ward name) Ward members
Receive a little pumpkin fun!
You have two (2) days to pass the pumpkin on.
To not do so, would just be wrong.
Take a pumpkin sticker (only one), and place it on your door.
Or you may get him back again, and have to repeat the chore.
Children are not required by those chosen to receive.
Make sure you are not caught the one's you choose to leave,
The pumpkin full of goodies, on their doorstep, in the eve.
Deliver your surprise in secret,
For if caught, you may have to eat it!
Keep the pumpkin rolling, don't let him sit idly by.
The one who receives him last (Oct 30th), should remember to bring
him the following night.
To the Ward Harvest Party, from 6-8PM.
We'll have food and fun abounding, we hope to see you then!
If you don't eat all the goodies, just add a few, and pass the
pumpkin along.

The Phantom haunts

"The Phantom haunts you happily from now through Halloween.
And was delivered by a friend who (hopefully) was not seen
The spirit of the ____________ Ward has come to wish you well.
Someone, somewhere, selected you to receive this happy spell
You must display the Phantom on your door so all can spy,
That you're already haunted by this happy little guy
Then fix three sacks with goodies like the one given to you
Ring a Ward member's bell and leave a bag and make them happy, too."
