CHORE CHARTS

I am not trying to start a debt here, this is just a thought that I like, and as we are teaching our children right from wrong, giving them responsibilities, and letting them spread their wings we need to remember this point about Free Agency......

Free Agency is like a Trust Fund, the kids may own it, but the parents oversee it until they are old enough to handle it on their own.

ATTENTION ON CHORE CHARTS!
I guess I misunderstood my rights when I purchased the different clip art I bought to make these chore charts, since I guess people can copy out of a PDF file, that makes it so I am "giving" away images, so I have had to take down the chore charts, I am working on getting clipart that can be used! I am working on getting more charts back up!
I do have the magnet Chore Chart done, see below

CHORE CHART WITH RIBBON

Here is an email I got about how she would like to use a chore chart, I thought it was a great idea so I thought I would share it with you.

Thanks Becky for this great idea.

I want to attach the chore pictures with a ribbon hanging below so once they finished that task, they would Velcro it up to the square on that day.  It would be filled each morning (once they have done their daily chores) and then cleared off again at night...  So it only tracks the one day process.  Then at the END of the chart I would use a square to put a sticker in if they got ALL of them completed that day.  Then if they get 7 stars at the end of the week, they get their allowance.  Does that make sense?

I have rearranged it a little so you can add the child's name in the top left hand corner, and the 6 hearts at the bottom of the page are where you can punch the hole for the ribbon.

coming soon................

Magnet Chore Chart

I made up this chart and it works great for my family, I know not everyone has four kids, so I will try to add a large chart later. Anyway the idea of this chart is that each child is responsible for 1 or 2 jobs all week long, this is besides their room. And we also have Saturday jobs, that would include their room and the jobs on this chart, which they need to do "deep" cleaning of this job and a few more jobs. Now, all I need to do is look at the chart and see who is in charge of what job, like if I need trash taken out, I then ask that person, no....... I did it last time, they know they have to do it all week long.

I went and bought magnetized sheets, which can go through your printer, I just printed out this chart, and stuck it on the fridge. (or you can just print it out and use tape or Velcro)

Here is a picture of ours, so you can see how you use it.

Household Cleaning Cards

Household Cleaning Cards in a changeable form, you can change these to make them fit your home.

These cards can be very helpful for any member of the family.  Each card outlines the job and gives a job description.  By having these cards you family will know what is expected.  When a job is completed, you can let the person in charge of that area evaluate his own work.  By having these cards you can see if anything has been left undone.

Make these cards for each area or job in your home.
