Christmas Gift For Children

Christmas Bell Countdown

December the first'til Christmas
Is the longest time of the year,
It seems as though old Santa
Never will appear.

How many days 'til Christmas?
It's mighty hard to count,
So this little chain of paper
Will show you the exact amount.

Remove one link each day
As the sandman casts his spell,
And Christmas will be here
By the time you reach the bell.

Little Star

Little Star, shining bright
How many days 'til Christmas night?
Jesus' birthday will soon be here,
Thank you, God, for your Son so dear.

Attach poem and links to a large star shape

I just wanted to share an idea I just did for our Primary Children's Christmas Gift.  I went and bought some packages of green ball ornaments and then used silver glitter paint and painted CTR on them and the year.  They turned out so cute and I think it's a great keepsake for all the primary kids.
Thank you Donna Manley  of Illinois for this great idea!
