ACTIVITIES CENTERED AROUND THE SCRIPTURES. - "This year, our Primary has planned the 4 activity days around the 4 standard works. Our first activity was games planned around the Old Testament complete with Noah's animal charades and designing their own coat of many colors. Our second activity was Helaman's Warrior Training Camp. We basically did activities similar to summer Olympics (basketball shooting, "javelin throw" with straws...) We also wrote on gold plate (cardboard covered with foil) and talked about journals. Our goal was to show the children that we are training for our own battles. Our 3rd activity will be a stake project about different countries. We plan to tie it in with the D & C and how the Saints gathered from around the world. Our final activity will be a talent show with the children and their families. We will focus on the New Testament and the parable of the talents. " SHERRIE, KUNA, IDAHO
