NOAH'S ARK ACTIVITY DAY

NOAH'S ARK ACTIVITY DAY - "We just had a great Activity Day! We took a trip on Noah's Ark. We divided the children into four groups; bees, turtles, fish and bears. We had an escort for each group. We divided the gym into four sections. We played the animal walk (like a cake walk, they got stickers for a prize), animal twister (there were animals instead of colored dots), a relay (Kangaroo Hop and elephant roll relay) and a craft for Jr. and Sr. Primaries. All the children arrived with a favorite stuffed animal to keep them company on their journey (everyone brought an animal). Noah visited and told his story. We had teachers running each stall (game booth). For dessert we had rainbow sherbet with animal crackers. We had a great turnout - 42 children and the majority of our teachers helped. The activity took 2 hours. The decorations were simple, animals on the wall and we had an ark on the wall and a crepe paper rainbow. Everyone had a great time." KIM K. CALIFORNIA
