Safety Guidelines for Activities

I recently sat in a meeting with our Bishopric where we were being trained, they had just recently attend a little Phillmont for scouting in the church (2/28/09), at this meeting they were told that the church would like ALL organizations, (YW, YM, Primary, RS, Ward Activities) to follow the BSA Safety guideline when planning activities in the church, the church leaders that were in attendance were, Charles W. Dahlquist (General YM President) and a member of the General Primary Presidency (I am not sure which one)

The Sweet Sixteen list is 16 safety points when planning an activity, the Unauthorized and Restricted Activities list, are activities that have been declared unauthorized and restricted by the BSA, and like I said the church has asked all organizations to follow.

I am working full time now and loving on my grandkids.  I will still be adding great quotes I find and things from General conference etc. Never fear, I am still here for you. If you need something please reach out to me, and I will See what I can do. You can reach me at theideadoor@gmail.com
