Items needed:

1. An 8×10 or 11×14 “The Family. A Proclamation to the World” for each girl and leader

2. Colored pencils.

How to do it:

This is a very simple activity. Just highlight the following sentences with the corresponding value color.

Sentences to be highlighted and the color:

BLUE: second paragraph, first sentence, “All human being — mail and female — are created in the image

of God.” In the margin beside this highlight, write, “W e are Daughters of our Heavenly Father”

RED: third sentence, second paragraph, “Gender is an essential characteristic of individual premortal,

mortal and eternal identity and purpose.”

GREEN: third paragraph, part of first sentence, “knew and worshiped God as their Eternal Father and

accepted His plan”

BLUE: part of the same sentence as green above, “divine destiny” and the beginning of the next

sentence, “The divine plan of happiness”

BLACK UNDERLINE: third paragraph, third sentence, “Sacred ordinances and covenants available in holy

temples” In the margin next to this write, “Receive the Ordinances of the Temple”

ORANGE: fourth paragraph, part of second sentence, “God’s commandment for His children to multiply

and replenish the earth”

BLUE: fifth paragraph, first sentence, “We declare the means by which mortal life is created to be divinely

appointed.”

YELLOW: sixth paragraph, first sentence, “Husband and wife have a solemn responsibility to love and

care for each other and for their children.”

YELLOW: sixth paragraph, part of third sentence, “duty to rear their children in love and righteousness, to

provide for their physical and spiritual needs,”

RED: sixth paragraph, part of fourth sentence, “will be held accountable before God”

RED: seventh paragraph, part of third sentence, “Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of

matrimony,”

PURPLE: seventh paragraph, part of third sentence, “with complete fidelity.”

WHITE: seventh paragraph, part of fifth sentence, “faith, prayer,”

YELLOW: seventh paragraph, part of fifth sentence, “repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion,

work, and wholesome activities.”

PURPLE: seventh paragraph, part of sixth sentence, “responsible to provide the necessities”

PURPLE: seventh paragraph, part of seventh sentence, “responsible for the nurture of their children.”

YELLOW: seventh paragraph, part of eighth sentence, “to help one another as equal partners.”

BLACK UNDERLINE: eighth paragraph, part of first sentence, “covenants of chastity,” In the margin next

to this, write, “Make and Keep Sacred Covenants”

ORANGE: eighth paragraph, part of first sentence, “will one day stand accountable before God.”

You can also type this on your computer, and highlight the text or change the color of the text to

correspond with the value colors, as stated above.

The time has come for me to be honest with myself,  that I just can't keep up with this site any more.
