#1 Iron a Shirt
One team member irons the front
One team member irons the back
One team member irons the right sleeve
One team member irons the left sleeve
One team member irons the shoulders
Time will be added for dropping the iron. (5 seconds)
#2 Peel an apple
All team members must take a turn with the peeler. Any peel left on the
apple will result in 5 seconds additional per piece of peel. Any peelings
with excessive apple remaining will result in an additional 10 seconds to
time.
#3 Use the phonebook to find a government agency. 10 seconds will be added for incorrect numbers.
– Find the phone # for Poison Control.
– Find the phone number to get information regarding a passport
– Find the number to make an appointment with the County Department of Motor Vehicles.
#4 Write a check
Examine the supplied bill and write a check to the appropriate payee for the amount due. Be sure to include the account number on the check. Record the check in the check register.
Any errors will result in 10 seconds added.
#5 Sew on a button
Each team member is to sew on a button. Buttons that are inadequately secured to the fabric will result in a 15-second addition to the team time.
#6 Balancing a checkbook
Work together as a team to determine the proper ending balance that should appear in the check register. A bank statement has been provided.
10 seconds will be subtracted from time if you end with the correct final balance.
#7 Double a recipe
Rewrite the recipe indicating the measurements that would be used to double the recipe.
Any errors will result in 5 second additions per error.
#8 Find a scripture in the Old Testament, New Testament, Book of Mormon’.
Doctrine & Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price on the topic of Reckoning.
