I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked
Our Theme for this year’s YWIE is “I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked”. We are having a flute solo by one of the young women, “As I Have Loved You”, a quartet by other young women, “Testimony” and a vocal solo, “I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked” also, for the closing song, the leaders will sing, “Walk Tall, You’re a Daughter of God”. (I love music, can you tell? : ) We are having a talk based on a talk by Elder Monson called “The Paths Jesus Walked”. We have had 6 little sisters earn their medallions this past year, and I am having them write their testimony of how Personal Progress helped them come to know the Savior, and then I will type them up, with their picture as a display. We are taking a night in mutual and making big “scrapbook” pages on posterboard, where each young woman will make one about a project they have completed. We will display those. We are having this on a Sunday, so I don’t want to spend a lot of time on decor, but I was wondering if anyone had ideas for
refreshments and decor.
Thanks,
